New Delhi, June 4: Eight people including a constable were injured in a grenade attack on police party at Batapora Chowk in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. According to the police, militants hurled a grenade at a police party stationed in Shopian town. The grenade missed its target and exploded on a roadside, injuring the civilians. Earlier on May 23, six civilians were injured in the grenade attack at Bijbehara town of Anantnag district. Two days later, two policemen and a civilian were injured in a similar attack at a bus stand on Jammu’s BC road.
