Srinagar, Jan 26: Terrorists hurled grenade at a police station in Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. Notably, the attack comes on a day when India is celebrating its 69th Republic Day. No casualties or injuries have been reported in the attack. More details are awaited.

Earlier on January 22, a similar attack took place in the state, wherein terrorists lobbed a grenade near Baramullah police station that injured a policeman.

On December 31 last year, five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were killed when heavily armed terrorists launched a pre-dawn attack on a CRPF camp in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.

CRPF spokesperson Rajesh Yadav had confirmed that five men were killed in the terrorist attack. He also added that the bodies of two terrorists have been recovered while one more was believed to be killed.
