2:45 PM: Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is chairing a high-level meeting between senior ministers of his cabinet and representatives of the Jat community.
2:00 PM: “There is no reason not to believe in the state government. The protesters should back-off and raise their plea in a constitutional manner,” the apex court said. It further added, “Public property should not be damaged.”
1:30 PM: Rohtak Bypass at Delhi-Bahadurgarh border chowk blocked by protesters again. Minor incidents of violence was reported again from the regions of Rohtak, Sonepat and Jhajjar.
12:00 PM: Protesters have blocked highway in Jhajjar. Although, army has been deployed in the region, protesters have not been completely deterred from making their presence.

10:50 AM: AAP Government has dispatched a team of staff from Delhi to Haryana to carry out remuneration work of the Munak canal. “Army has taken control of Munak Canal.Our team is going there,repair work will be done,” said state cabinet minister Kapil Mishra.
10:40 AM: Samjhauta Express, plying from Delhi to Attari (Pakistan’s Punjab) has been cancelled. The ‘Sad-e-Sarhad’ bus service between Lahore and Delhi has will also remain suspended for the day.
Chandigarh/New Delhi, Feb 22: Jat reservation row has gripped most of the sensitive, highly Jat-dominated regions of Haryana. The agitation has entered into its 10th day. Nearly 3 days after the deployment of Army and CRPF personnel, the situation in Haryana is returning towards normalcy. Curfew remains to be imposed in 4 districts of Rohtak, Jhajjar, Sonepat and Barota. Shoot at sight orders have been given to the army in this region to curtail the agitators.
The death toll in the protest has climbed to 11, all of them being the Jat agitators who were shot dead in retaliatory firing by security forces. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is scheduled to hold a high-level meeting in the afternoon at 1:30 AM, where the state government led by Bharatiya Janata Party will release concrete assurance to the Jat community members, urging them to call an end to the ongoing protest.
Several highways connecting northern cities of India have turned functional once again. The Chandigarh-Jammu highway will resume operation from today. NH1 to Ambala has also been cleared.
Army on Sunday morning took over the Munak canal from the protesters. It is the main source of water for the people of Delhi. Water storage in Delhi Jal Board has reached an alarmingly low level with water supplies expected to roughly last for the next 24 hours. Centre has instructed Haryana Government to resume the operation of Munak canal at the earliest.
