New Delhi, June 11: At least four people were injured in a clash which was reported from Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh. The police have arrested two in connection with the clash and are looking for the rest. The incident was reported in Jaunpur’s Hanuman Ghat on June 10.

According to the reports, the clash broke out between two groups over vacating a property dispute. As the argument grew bigger, the two groups resorted to stone pelting. At least four people were injured. The police have arrested two. A video of the clash was posted by ANI on its Twitter handle.


Speaking about the incident, SP said, “It was dispute between landlord and tenants. They wanted a shop for themselves, landlord opposed this and chaos erupted. Police reached there and realised stones were being pelted on them. Both groups called to police station.”
