New Delhi, April 27: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the Joint Entrance Examinations Mains (JEE Main 2016) results today on their official website. The JEE Main 2016 results will be declared officially on jeemain.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. Students who appeared for the JEE main 2016 exam will be able to access their JEE Main 2016 scores today. In order to check the JEE main exam results, candidates will have to log on to JEE website jeemain.nic.in or the CBSE website cbseresults.nic.in. The CBSE will announce the individual JEE Main 2016 score as well as the rank list of this year. The JEE Main 2016 offline paper I and paper II were held on April 3 and the online Paper I and paper II were held on April 9 and 10. JEE (Main) exam is held to select candidates seeking admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical Institutions. Those who will clear the JEE main exam this year will be eligible to sit for the JEE advanced 2016 exam for admission in various IITs. The candidate merit or rank list will be prepared based on 40 per cent weightage to school Boards marks in class 12th or any equivalent examination and 60 per cent weightage to JEE(Main). The States of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Nagaland & Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system.
