Patna, Nov 8: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led National Democratic Alliance is leading by a huge margin as per early trends released by the Election Commission. The saffron coalition is currently ahead on 92 seats, while the Mahagathbandhan comprising of Janata Dal (United), Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress is ahead on 64. Pro-Muslim outfit All India Majlees-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has made an impressive debut. Party’s state unit chief Akhtarul Iman is ahead from Kochadaman assembly segment. (ALSO READ: Bihar Assembly Election Results 2015 Live Streaming- Watch Live telecast)
BJP’s pre-poll coalition is effectively in favour of the party. Lok Janshakti Party and Hindustani Awami Morcha are leading on a substantial 5 and 9 seats respectively.
The Mahagathbandhan is trailing from behind and the margin is widening constantly. It is currently trailing on 28 seats it won in 2010 assembly elections.
