“Militants hurled a grenade at police station Kakapora in Pulwama district today. However, the grenade exploded outside the wall of the police station. Police fired few aerial shots. One CRPF personnel received personnel injuries,” J-K Police said in a statement.

After the incident, police said that troops of 41 Bn CRPF are deployed in the premises of Kakapora police station in Pulwama. “The CRPF constable sustained splinter injuries and has been taken to hospital. His condition is stable,” police said.
