New Delhi, Feb 26: Terrorists hurled grenade at a police station in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday injuring a security personnel. Shortly after the attack, the area was cordoned off and a search operation was launched to nab the terrorists. However, more details are awaited in the incident.
On Sunday evening, one security guard was killed after militants attacked a security guard post near Charar-e-Sharief shrine in Budgam district. The martyred security personnel was identified as constable Kultar Singh of the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police 13th Battalion. He was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries there.
Meanwhile, District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said that six civilians were killed and 13 others were injured in heavy Pakistani shelling along the LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir during the last 10 months.
