JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar claims he was assaulted by BJP supporter on Jet Airways flight!

Kanhaiya Kumar said on Twitter on Sunday that flight authorities were extremely unresponsive when he told them what had transpired. He said that the staff refused to take any action against his attacker. "Yet again, this time inside the aircraft, a man tries to strangulate me", he said.

Mumbai, April 24: Jawahar lal University Students Union President Kanhaiya Kumar said on Sunday that he was attacked on a Jet Airways flight. He said that a man tried to strangulate him while on the aircraft. Kumar, who was in Mumbai, for a convention on Youth against Discrimination and Intolerance, said that the Jet Airways crew did not pay any attention to his complaints and threatened to deplane him instead.

In a Twitter rant on Sunday, Kumar said that the authorities were extremely unresponsive when he told them what had transpired. He continued: “After the incident @jetairways staff completely refuses to take any action against the man who assaulted me. Basically @jetairways sees no difference between someone who assaults nd d person who is assaulted. They will deplane you, if you complain.” Kumar has targeted the Narendra Modi government during his speech in Mumbai, saying that this was a government of “selfies” and “jumlas”  and that no real work was being done. 

“We do not see politics as only limited to the elections. For us politics is a revolution! We want a government of revolution. We want to challenge the inequality and the ‘Brahmanvaad’ in Indian society. This is our struggle!”, said Kumar in Mumbai. In a direct challenge to the central BJP government, Kumar said that the oppressed masses will ‘wage a war’ against ‘capitalists and RSS’.
