Vadodara, Jan 24: BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya on Tuesday, yet again, slammed Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan in connection with tragedy that killed a one during Raees on Rail promotion in Vadodara on Monday.

Taking a potshot at the actor, Vijayvargiya said that the actor should have thought about the people. “His way of promotion, on the train, caused inconvenience to train passengers,” he said.

The leader also asserted that it is not about Shah Rukh Khan but, the crowds would have appeared for Dawood as well.

Meanwhile, the Union Rail Minister Suresh Prabhu directed the DG RPF to investigate the Vadodara tragedy and take stern action against any lapse.

One person died and another was left critical on the crowded Vadodara railway platform, teeming with fans of actor Shah Rukh Khan, who arrived on board the August Kranti Express on Monday to promote his upcoming film Raees.

Few days back, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary took to Twitter and targeted Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan for his upcoming film Raees.

Vijayvarigiya in a tweet, which he had posted on Saturday, said, “Ab baari desh ki, Kaabil janata ki hai. Jo Kaabil hai, uska haq koi beimaan Raees na chheenn paaye.”

However, the leader did not made a direct attack on the actor but, has clearly sent out a strong message to the people to support Hrithik Roshan-starrer Kaabil and ditch SRK’s Raees.

Vijayvargiya had targeted the 51-year-old-superstar earlier as well. He had tweeted, “Shah Rukh Khan lives in India, but his heart is in Pakistan. His films make crores here but he finds India intolerant.”

During an interview to India Today, SRK had earlier said, “There is intolerance, there is extreme intolerance. I think, there is growing intolerance.”

Speaking on the “growing intolerance” in the country, the actor had further said that “religious intolerance and not being secular…is the worst kind of crime that you can do as a patriot”.

His statement, however, hampered the box office collection of his movie Dilwale.

Raees which has been the centre of attraction for quiet a long time now, due to the presence of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, is all set for a face-off with Hrithik Roshan-starrer Kaabil on January 25.
