New Delhi, Aug 2: Six labourers died and one left injured after a crane at an under-construction cement factory collapsed in Kalaburagi city of Karnataka, ANI reported on Thursday. Police have reached the spot and rescue operation is underway. More details are awaited.

The injured labourers were rushed to nearby hospital for the treatment. Recently, five people died and 50 were injured after a tin shed of a makeshift stadium collapsed during a tractor race in Sriganganagar in Rajasthan. Many were feared trapped in the accident. The incident took place in Dharmandi area.

According to the information, during the competition, thousands of people were present. Suddenly, the roof fell down which created panic in the people.

On July 27, a five-storey showroom building in Khoda colony of Ghaziabad collapsed. Many were feared to be trapped in the debris of the showroom building.
