Bengaluru, Feb 19: Karnataka Congress MLA NA Haris’s son Mohammed Haris Nalapad surrendered to the police on Monday. Haris Nalapad is accused of thrashing a man in a pub in Bengaluru’s UB City. Nalapad, who was the Bengaluru District Youth Congress General Secretary, was suspended from the party for six years after the incident. An FIR was registered against Mohammed Haris Nalapad and ten others for allegedly beating up a person in a restaurant in Bengaluru’s UB City. Nalapad and his supporters allegedly thrashed Vidwath, who already had a leg fractured, in a restaurant in Bengaluru’s UB city and later reportedly threatened him in the hospital he was taken to against pressing charges. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah also said that offenders should be punished to the full extent of law regardless of who they are.
