Karnataka Lok Sabha Election 2024 Voting Highlights: 14 Lok Sabha seats of Karnataka will witness the electoral contest on Tuesday. The Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress will lock horns to win these seats in the third phase of the Lok Sabha election. During the second phase, 14 of the 28 seats went to polls, witnessing the voter turnout of 69.56 percent. In the previous Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had swept all these 14 seats, defeating the grand old party and JD(S), the alliance that was ruling the state at the time. Key candidates to watch during the polls are; Former Chief Ministers Basavaraj Bommai, Jagadish Shettar, Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi, Radhakrishna Doddamani, BY Raghavendra, Bhagwanth Khuba, Congress’ Geetha Shivrajkumar and suspended BJP leader KS Eshwarappa.

Former Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa said, “We are going to win a minimum of 25 Lok Sabha seats. Atmosphere is very good…(BY) Raghavendra will win with a margin of more than 2.5 Lakh votes. There is no doubt about it.”
