Bengaluru: At least six people were killed and five others were critically injured after a boiler exploded in the distillery unit of Nirani Sugar Factory Limited in Mudhol in Karnataka’s Bagalkote district on Sunday noon. Former minister and BJP legislator Murgesh Nirani and his brothers Sangamesh and Hanumantha are the owner of the Nirani Sugar Factory Limited.
