Kerala Assembly Election Results Updates: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday won the Dharmadam Assembly constituency seat with a total of 85,614 votes.Vijayan was positioned against Congress's Abdul Rasheed and BJP's K Ranjith in the Dharmadam constituency.Meanwhile, the Congress-led UDF in Keralam has crossed the majority mark in the 140-member Assembly, with election trends showing it comfortably ahead of the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) led by the Communist Party of India (Marxist). The verdict is being seen as a decisive rejection of the LDF's 10-year tenure, marked by anti-incumbency.

Counting of votes for all 140 Assembly constituencies in Kerala has concluded. As per the Election Commission of India (ECI) 's schedule, the Assembly elections in Kerala were held in a single phase on April 9. The state will witness a close, intense, and high-stakes electoral battle, with the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF), the opposition United Democratic Front (UDF), and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). As per the early trends, Pinarayi Vijayan is leading.

12:28 PM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who was trailing in Dharmadom constituency till the sixth round of counting, has moved into the lead, according to TV reports. However, Congress candidate V P Abdul Rasheed continues to put up a tough fight, with Vijayan leading by only around 1,500 votes while more than six rounds of counting remain.

Vijayan, the face of the LDF in the Assembly election, is seeking a mandate from Dharmadom for the third time. Dharmadom is regarded as an LDF stronghold, and the close contest is seen as an unusual development for the CPI(M) in Kannur.

11:10 AM: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is trailing in Dharmadom constituency, where Congress candidate V P Abdul Rasheed is leading by a margin of more than 2812 votes, according to the Election Commission of India trends

As of 10:20 AM, according to the early trends, Adv. V.P. Abdul Rasheed of the Indian National Congress party is leading with a margin of 2077 votes against Pinarayi Vijayan of the Communist Party of India(Marxist). Vijayan secured 15570 votes as per early trends, whereas Rasheed got 17647 votes.

As of 9: 23 AM, according to the early trends, Adv. V.P. Abdul Rasheed of the Indian National Congress party is leading with a margin of 733 votes against Pinarayi Vijayan of the Communist Party of India(Marxist), who is trailing with 5,008 votes.
