New Delhi, Dec 1 : Huge row which had erupted following the Kerala house raid by Delhi police has revealed that it was conducted following accusations of beef being served in the the state guest house and there was no ulterior motives behind such an action.The Special Investigation Team which was convened to look over the matter and investigate did not find any malice behind the raid conducted.
The complaint which was received on PCR by Delhi police during the raid received a lot of flak for engaging on such an event especially on an advice by the alleged fringe group Hindu Sena. Police Commissioner BS Bassi who was also on the receiving end for the mishap got severely admonished in many quarters including Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandi who had written a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He had also accused the police of overstepping its brief and entering the house without any permission and authorization. The police chief was later quoted as saying that they will never act against a private institution and that he was confident that there will not be any irregularities in the Kerala house. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who has long being advocating for the jurisdiction of the entire police administration in the capital to come from union government to under the state government had also expressed his dismay and outrage over the incident.
