Bengaluru: A Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus driver has been removed from duty after a video of him driving with a langur perched on the steering wheel went viral on social media. The incident reportedly took place inside a bus plying to Bharamasagara to Davanagere on October 1. In the video, that is being shared widely on the internet, the driver – Prakash – can be seen sitting on the driver seat with a langur perched on the steering wheel. Following the incident, the driver was removed from the duty and an inquiry has been ordered against him. A tweet by news agency ANI suggests that he has been suspended over charges of endangering the lives of passengers.
