Manohar Parrikar, who served as the Defence Minister for two years before he was shifted back to his hometown said that Pakistan wants some or other reason to remain engaged. “They (Pakistan) are playing a dangerous game. “Pakistan must give back Jadhav, we want peace, we don’t want provocation. First of all, he was abducted. He was not in Pakistan. He was in Iran. Iran has said that Taliban kidnapped him and took him to Pakistan. The neighbouring country has a habit of doing something or other,” Manohar Parrikar said.

He also said that India will not remain quite and the country will do whatever is required to free Kulbhushan Jadhav. “We can take care of Pakistan if it tries to do anything ill-advised,” said the BJP leader.

“After surgical strike, Pakistan has stopped talking about use of nuclear weapon. I hope that the neighbouring country have understood that they cannot blackmail us as India has the power to counter them,” he added.

Manohar Parrikar also praised the leadership of Narendra Modi and said that India has achieved many things under PM. “Earlier there use to be a soft diplomacy and also there was use of hard power. This has happened for the first time,” PM Modi said.

Meanwhile, the relationship between India and Pakistan have soared further and today India has called off a bilateral talk with Pakistan scheduled on April 17, 2017.
