New Delhi, June 16: The Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has been planning the biggest infiltration bid on the Line of Control, a report suggested. The report said that at least 18 LeT terrorists are training at launch pads in Shardi opposite Jammu and Kashmir’s Machil Sector and 8 are ready in Lipa opposite Nowgam to attack India. Moreover, six terrorists are ready in Kalu Di Dheri opposite Poonch and three in Kotli district opposite Bhimber Gali in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier on June 8, intelligence inputs had revealed that Pakistan has been planning to infiltrate around 450 new recruits of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror outfits into India to carry out attacks at several places ahead of the Amarnath Yatra 2018. The new recruits have been trained by the Special Service Group (SSG) and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), as per the reports. (1) 18 trained LeT terrorists on launchpad Shardi opposite Machhil.
(2) 8 LeT terrorists ready in Lipa opposite Nowgam.
(3) 6 LeT terrorists in Kalu Di Dheri, opposite Poonch.
(4) 3 terrorists in Kotli opposite Bhimber Gali.
The terrorists, according to the reports, are waiting at at least 11 launch pads Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) across Line of Control to cross over to India and carry out terrorist attacks. The launch pads, where the terrorists have been waiting, include Kel, Shardi, Dudhnial, Athmuqam, Jura, Leepa, Pachhiban, Thandapani, Nyali, Lanjote, and Nikail.
