New Delhi, Feb 16: A bench headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra will pronounce the verdict on the appeals filed by Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala against the 2007 order of the Cauvery Water Dispute Tribunal (CWDT) on sharing of water. Earlier on September 20, 2017, the court had reserved its order on the matter.Also Read - US Strikes Down Right to Abortion; Supreme Court Says Not in Constitution

Demanding fare hike, private buses in Kerala have decided to go off the roads from today on February 16. The decision to call for an indefinite strike is against the state government’s order which hiked government and private bus fares in Kerala from Rs 7 to Rs 8.
