Jammu: Asserting that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Sunday made it clear that nobody can seize it from us. Addressing a rally in Jammu ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Shah said that it is BJP’s resolve that the place where Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee gave up his life, that place is ours.

Shah said, “Jahan hue balidan Mookerjee (Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee), wo Kashmir hamara hai.”

Shah attacked Congress President Rahul Gandhi and raised questions on the situation of Kashmir stating that it was because of his great-grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru that Kashmir remains in a state of flux. He said, “I want to tell him that if questions are being raised about Kashmir today, it’s because of your great-grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru. When our forces were going to conquer PoK, who stopped them? It was Jawaharlal Nehru.”

The BJP president also spoke about the sacrifice of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who lost their lives in the Pulwama Terror Attack stating that the government has zero tolerance for terrorism and maintained that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre never hesitated in giving a befitting reply to terrorism.
