Rao said, “If Telangana Congress leaders want to go to the bathroom, they’ll go to Delhi. We can also see that the popularity graph of PM Narendra Modi is decreasing. PM is not doing any work but only speaking.”

He accused the Centre of ‘ignoring’ Telangana and said more TRS MPs were needed for development of the youngest state in the country. The leader also poked fun at the Congress for stating that the upcoming election is between Modi and Rahul Gandhi.

Rao alleged that PM Modi never responded to the requests of the Telangana government for according national project status to Kaleshwaram irrigation project. He even accused the Centre of ignoring recommendations of Niti Aayog to sanction Rs 23,000 crore for Mission Bhagiratha, a flagship project of Telangana government aimed at providing piped drinking water to every household. “To develop Telangana, we need more of TRS MPs in Delhi who can strongly fight for the development of the state,” he told the party people.
