New Delhi: The Congress Central Election Committee (CEC) on Wednesday approved the names of 18 candidates for the upcoming polls, news agency ANI reported quoting sources. The next CEC meeting will be held on March 31.

Congress List For Lok Sabha Elections 2024

The Congress party has been actively releasing lists of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Recently, they have announced several candidates for various constituencies. In the seventh list, Congress released candidates like Kanhaiya Lal Meena from Dausa Lok Sabha seat in Rajasthan and Indu Devi from Karauli-Dolpur, among others.

The Congress party has nominated candidates from various states for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

  • Rajasthan: Prahlad Gunjal for Kota, Ramchandra Choudhary for Ajmer, Sudarshan Rawat for Rajsamand, and Damodar Gurjar for Bhilwara.
  • Tamil Nadu: C Robert Bruce for Tirunelveli and Tharahai Cuthbert for Vilavancode.
  • Assam: Gaurav Gogoi for Jorhat.
  • Maharashtra: Adv Gowaal K Padavi for Nandurbar, Balwant Basawant Wankhede for Amravati, Vasantrao Balwantrao Chavan for Nanded, Ravindra Hemraj Dhangekar for Pune, and Praniti Sushilkumar Shinde for Solapur.
  • Gujarat: The party has announced candidates for 11 seats in Gujarat.
  • Karnataka: The Congress has candidates for 17 seats in Karnataka, including Mansoor Ali Khan for Bangalore Central and Sowmya Reddy for Bangalore South.
  • West Bengal: The party has candidates for 8 seats in West Bengal, including Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury for Berhampore.
  • Puducherry: One candidate has been nominated from Puducherry.
