Replying to PM Modi’s tweet, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said, “Thank u so much sir. Earlier in the day, PM Modi wished him good luck after the massive win in the Delhi Assembly Election 2020. PM Modi also wished him the best for fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Delhi.

“Congratulations to AAP and Shri @ArvindKejriwal Ji for the victory in the Delhi Assembly Elections. Wishing them the very best in fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Delhi,” PM Modi said in a tweet.

As per the latest trend from the Election Commission, the AAP was leading in 62 seats, the BJP in 8 constituencies, while the Congress is yet to open any account this time.

Earlier in the day, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari congratulated Keejriwal and accepted people mandate, saying the people of Delhi must have given mandate after careful thinking.

“The national capital must have given mandate after careful thinking. Our vote percentage has increased from 32 per cent to around 38 per cent,” Manoj Tiwari said.

Prior to this, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi too congratulated Kejriwal for the win, saying, “My best wishes and congratulations to Kejriwal and the AAP on winning the Delhi Assembly elections.”
