Bhopal: The counting of votes for the 230 Assembly constituencies that went to polls in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018  is underway. The results for Jaisingnagar, Jaitpur, Kotma, Anuppur, Pushprajgarh, Bandhavgarh, Manpur and Barwara Assembly constituencies will be announced today, December 11. Jaisingnagar, Jaitpur, Kotma, Anuppur, Pushprajgarh, Bandhavgarh, Manpur and Barwara are witnessing a tough contest between the candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress among other regional and national parties and will get new MLAs today. Jaisinghnagar recorded a voter turnout of 69 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Jaisingh Maravi, Congress’s Dhyan Singh, BSP’s Vijay Kumar Kol and AAP’s Farsu Kol. BJP wins. The seat was won by Pramila Singh of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Jaitpur is witnessing a close fight between BJP’s Manisha Singh and Congress’ Uma Dhurve. He will also face a contest against Mohadal Singh Pav of BSP and Bahadur Paw of AAP. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, recorded 75 per cent voter turnout on November 28. BJP wins. In 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election, the seat was won by Jai Singh Maravi of the BJP.

Kotma had witnessed 76 per cent voter turnout of November 28. The candidates fighting for the seat are – Dilip Jaiswal of the BJP, Suneel Saraf of the Congress, Sudhir Kumar Pandey of BSP. Congress wins. In 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election, Manoj Kumar Agrawal of the Congress had won the seat.

Anuppur recorded a voter turnout of 74 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Ramlal Route and Congress’s Bisahulal Singh. Congress wins. The seat was won by Ramlal Rautel of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Pushprajgarh recorded a voter turnout of 72 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Narendra Maravi, Congress’s Phundelal Singh Marko, BSP’s Nayan Singh Dhurvey. Congress wins. The seat was won by Phundelal Singh Marko of the Congress in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Bandhavgarh recorded a voter turnout of 72 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Shivnarayan Singh, Congress’s Dhyan Singh Parste, AAP’s Krishn Kumar and BSP’s Shiv Prasad Kol. BJP wins. The seat was won by Gyan Singh of BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Manpur recorded a voter turnout of 66 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Sushri Meena Singh, Congress’s Tilak Raj Singh, AAP’s Ram Karan Kol and BSP’s Rekha Kol. BJP’s Sushri Meena Singh wins. The seat was won by Sushri Meena Singh of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Barwara recorded a voter turnout of 63 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Moti Kashyap, Congress’s Vijay Raghvendra Singh, AAP’s Alka Goud and BSP’s Ajay Gotiya. BJP wins. The seat was won by Moti Kashyap of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

The voting for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 was held on November 28. The counting of votes and the results for all the Assembly constituencies including Jaisingnagar, Jaitpur, Kotma, Anuppur, Pushprajgarh, Bandhavgarh, Manpur and Barwara will be announced today, December 11.
