The counting of votes for the 230 Assembly constituencies that went to polls in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 on November 28 is underway. The results for Chandla, Rajnagar, Pawai, Gunnaor, Panna, Vijayraghavgarh, Murwara and Bahoriband Assembly constituencies will be announced today, December 11. Chandla, Rajnagar, Pawai, Gunnaor, Panna, Vijayraghavgarh, Murwara and Bahoriband are witnessing a tough contest between the candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress among other regional and national parties and will get new MLAs today. Chandla recorded a voter turnout of 63 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Rajesh Prajapati, Congress’s Hariprasad Anuragi, BSP’s Ahirwar Pushpendra Kumar. BJP wins. The seat was won by Ramdayal Prajapati of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Rajnagar is witnessing a close fight between BJP’s Arvind Pateriya and Congress’ Vikram Singh Natiraja. He will also face a contest against Vinod Kumar Patel of BSP. The seat recorded 62 per cent voter turnout on November 28. Congress wins.  In 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election, the seat was won by Vikram Singh Nati Raja of the Congress.

Pawai had witnessed 64 per cent voter turnout of November 28. The candidates fighting for the seat are – Brijendra Pratap Singh of the BJP, Mukesh Nayak of the Congress, Sita Ram Patel of BSP and Anil Tiwari of the AAP. BJP wins. In 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election, Pandit Mukesh Nayak of the BJP had won the seat.

Gunnaor recorded a voter turnout of 64 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Rajesh Verma, Congress’s Dayal Bagari, BSP’s Jeevanlal Siddharth. Congress wins. The seat was won by Mahendra Singh of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Panna recorded a voter turnout of 63 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Brijendra Singh, Congress’s Shivjeet Singh and BSP’s Anupama Charan Singh Yadav. BJP is leading. BJP’s Brijendra Singh wins. The seat was won by Kusum Singh Mahdele of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Vijayraghavgarh recorded a voter turnout of 75 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Sanjay Pathak, Congress’s Padma Shukla, AAP’s Ramakant Patel and BSP’s Ram Sarovar Kushwaha. BJP’s Sanjay Pathak wins. The seat was won by Sanjay Pathak of Congress in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Murwara recorded a voter turnout of 72 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Sandeep Jaiswal, Congress’s Mithilesh Jain, and BSP’s Pramod Gupta. BJP’s Sandeep Jaiswal wins. The seat was won by Sandip Shriprasad Jaiswal of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Bahoriband recorded a voter turnout of 67 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Pranay Pandey, Congress’s Sourabh Singh Sisodia, BSP’s Choudhari Govind Patel. BJP wins. The seat was won by Prabhat Pandey of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

The voting for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 was held on November 28. The counting of votes and the results for all the Assembly constituencies including Chandla, Rajnagar, Pawai, Gunnaor, Panna, Vijayraghavgarh, Murwara and Bahoriband will be announced today, December 11.
