Bhopal: The counting of votes for the 230 Assembly constituencies that went to polls in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 on November 28 is underway. The results for Chitrakoot, Raigaon, Satna, Nagod, Maihar, Amarpatan and Rampur-Baghelan Assembly constituencies will be announced today, December 11. Chitrakoot, Raigaon, Satna, Nagod, Maihar, Amarpatan and Rampur-Baghelan are witnessing a tough contest between the candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress among other regional and national parties and will get new MLAs today. Chitrakoot recorded a voter turnout of 62 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Surendra Gaharwar, Congress’s Nilanshu Chaturvedi, BSP’s Ravendra Singh Patwari and AAP’s Rajvant Singh. In 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election, Shankar Lal Tiwari of the BJP had won the seat.

Nagod recorded a voter turnout of 64 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Nagendra Singh, Congress’s Yadvendra Singh, BSP’s Rambihari and AAP’s Vivek Singh Lodhi. BJP wins. The seat was won by Yadavendra Singh of the Congress in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Maihar recorded a voter turnout of 58 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Narayan Tripathi, Congress’s Shrikant Chaturvedi, AAP’s Pushpendra Singh and BSP’s Nagendra Singh. BJP wins. The seat was won by Narayan Prasad of the Congress in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Amarpatan recorded a voter turnout of 62 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Ram Khilawan Patel, Congress’s Rajendra Kumar Singh, AAP’s Jitendra Chaurasiya and BSP’s Chhangelal Kol. BJP wins. The seat was won by Rajendra Kumar Singh Dadabhai of Congress in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Rampur-Baghelan recorded a voter turnout of 55 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Vikram Singh, Congress’s Ramshankar Payashi, and BSP’s Ramlakhan Singh. BJP wins. The seat was won by Harsh Singh of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

The voting for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 was held on November 28. The counting of votes and the results for all the Assembly constituencies including Chitrakoot, Raigaon, Satna, Nagod, Maihar, Amarpatan and Rampur-Baghelan will be announced today, December 11.
