Bhopal: The counting of votes for the 230 Assembly constituencies that went to polls in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 on November 28 is underway. The results for Churhat, Sidhi, Sihawal, Chitrangi, Singrauli, Devsar, Dhauhani and Beohari Assembly constituencies will be announced today, December 11. Churhat, Sidhi, Sihawal, Chitrangi, Singrauli, Devsar, Dhauhani and Beohari are witnessing a tough contest between the candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress among other regional and national parties and will get new MLAs today. Churhat recorded a voter turnout of 68 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Shardendu Tiwari, Congress’s Ajay Singh, BSP’s Vivek Kol and AAP’s Maneesh Kumar Sharma. BJP wins. Sihawal had witnessed 65 per cent voter turnout of November 28. The candidates fighting for the seat are – Shiy Bahadur Chandel of the BJP, Kamleshwar Patel of the Congress, Nisar Alam Fakhruddin of BSP. Congress wins. In 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election, Kamleshwar Indrajeet Kumar of the Congress had won the seat.

Chitrangi recorded a voter turnout of 65 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Amar Singh, Congress’s Saraswati Singh, BSP’s Ashok Singh Paigham and AAP’s Avadhesh. BJP’s Amar Singh wins.  The seat was won by Saraswati of the Congress in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Singrauli recorded a voter turnout of 67 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Ramlallu Vaishya, Congress’s Renu Shah, BSP’s Suresh Sahawal. BJP wins. The seat was won by Ram Lallu Vaishya of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Devsar recorded a voter turnout of 68 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Subhash Verma, Congress’s Rambhajan Saket and BSP’s Shiv Shankar. BJP wins. The seat was won by Rajendra Kumar of BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Dhauhani recorded a voter turnout of 61 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Kunwar Singh Tekam, Congress’s Kamlesh Singh, AAP’s Girdhari Baiga and BSP’s Avadh Pratap Singh. BJP wins. The seat was won by Kunwar Singh Tekam of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Beohari recorded a voter turnout of 73 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Sharad Koul, Congress’s Rampal Singh, AAP’s Dashrath and BSP’s Ramvishal. BJP wins. The seat was won by Rampal Singh of the Congress in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

The voting for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 was held on November 28. The counting of votes and the results for all the Assembly constituencies including Churhat, Sidhi, Sihawal, Chitrangi, Singrauli, Devsar, Dhauhani and Beohari will be announced today, December 11.
