Bhopal: The counting of votes for the 230 Assembly constituencies that went to polls in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 on November 28 is underway. The results for Deori, Rehli, Banda, Malhara, Pathariya, Damoh, Jabera and Hatta Assembly constituencies will be announced today, December 11. Deori, Rehli, Banda, Malhara, Pathariya, Damoh, Jabera and Hatta are witnessing a tough contest between the candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress among other regional and national parties and will get new MLAs today. Deori recorded a voter turnout of 67 per cent on November 28. The seat was won by Ahir Rekha Yadav of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Pathariya recorded a voter turnout of 64 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Lakhan Patel, Congress’s Gourav Patel, AAP’s Priyanka Raja Bundela, AAP’s Chandra Mohan Guru and BSP’s Rambai Govind Singh. Bahujan Samaj Party wins. The seat was won by Shailendra Kumar Jain of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Damoh recorded a voter turnout of 59 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Jayant Malaiya, Congress’s Rahul Singh Lodhi and BSP’s Komal Ahirwar. Congress wins. The seat was won by Jayant Malaiya of BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Jabera recorded a voter turnout of 63 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Dharmendra Lodhi, Congress’s Pratap Singh Lodhi, AAP’s Basant Rai and BSP’s Delan Singh Dhurve. BJP wins. The seat was won by Pratap Singh of the Congress in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Hatta recorded a voter turnout of 62 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s PL Tantuway, Congress’s Harishankar Choudhary, BSP’s Roshni Ahirwar. BJP’s PL Tantuway wins. The seat was won by Umadevi Khateek of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

The voting for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 was held on November 28. The counting of votes and the results for all the Assembly constituencies including Deori, Rehli, Banda, Malhara, Pathariya, Damoh, Jabera and Hatta will be announced today, December 11.
