Bhopal: The counting of votes for the 230 Assembly constituencies that went to polls in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 on November 28 is underway. The results for Bina, Khurai, Surkhi, Naryoli, Sagar, Kurwai, Sironj and Shamshabad Assembly constituencies will be announced today, December 11. Bina, Khurai, Surkhi, Naryoli, Sagar, Kurwai, Sironj and Shamshabad are witnessing a tough contest between the candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress among other regional and national parties and will get new MLAs today. Bina went to polls on November 28 and recorded a voter turnout of 66 per cent. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between Mahesh Rai of the BJP and Shashi Kumar Kaithuria of the Congress. Among others, who are contesting the elections from the seat are – Ahirwar Surendra Kumar of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Malkhan Parihar Khangar of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). BJP wins. Khurai is witnessing a close fight between BJP’s Bhuepndra Singh and Congress’s Anmoday Choubey. They will also face a contest against Badal Singh of BSP and Sanman Singh Rajput of AAP. The seat recorded 68 per cent voter turnout on November 28. BJP wins. In 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election, the seat was won by Bhupendra Singh of the BJP.

Surkhi had witnessed 69 per cent voter turnout of November 28. The candidates fighting for the seat are – Sudhir Yadav of the BJP, Gopal Singh Rajput of the Congress, and Saifuddin of the AAP. Congress’ Gopal Singh Rajput wins. In 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election, Parul Sahu Kesari of the BJP had won the seat.

Naryoli recorded a voter turnout of 58 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Pradeep Lariya, Congress’s Surendra Choudhary, BSP’s Yogendra Suraj Choudhary and AAP’s Babulal Ahirwar. BJP wins. The seat was won by Pradeep Lariya of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Sagar recorded a voter turnout of 61 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Shialendra Jain, Congress’s Nevi Jain, AAP’s Indra Vikram Singh and BSP’s Santosh Prajapati. BJP’s Shialendra Jain wins. The seat was won by Shailendra Kumar Jain of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Kurwai recorded a voter turnout of 70 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Hari Sapray, Congress’s Subhash Borat, BSP’s Emrat Lal Ahirwar and AAP’s Ram Charan Ahirwar. BJP’s Hari Sapray wins. The seat was won by Veer Singh Panwar of BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Sironj recorded a voter turnout of 72 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Umakant Sharma, Congress’s Masharat Shaheed and BSP’s Isem Singh Morye. BJP’s Umakant Sharma wins. The seat was won by Govardhan Lal of the Congress in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Shamshabad recorded a voter turnout of 73 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Rajshri Singh, Congress’s Jyotsana Yadav, BSP’s Maharaj Singh Ahirwar and AAP’s Naveen Sharma. BJP wins. The seat was won by Surya Prakash Meena of the Congress in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

The voting for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 was held on November 28. The counting of votes and the results for all the Assembly constituencies including Bina, Khurai, Surkhi, Naryoli, Sagar, Kurwai, Sironj and Shamshabad will be announced today, December 11.
