New Delhi: Hours after Jyotiraditya Scindia joined the BJP in the presence of party chief JP Nada, posters of Scindia with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah appeared in Bhind area of Madhya Pradesh. Soon after joining the BJP, the party named him as one of the candidates for the Rajya Sabha polls in Madhya Pradesh.



Addressing a press conference soon after joining the BJP, Scindia slammed the Congress and said that the party is not the same as it used to be. “There is a denial of reality in the Congress, it has changed what the party used to be,” he said.

However, Scindia showered praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership and said the country’s future is secure in PM’s hands.

“I would like to thank BJP chief JP Nadda, Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for inviting me into the BJP family,” he said.
