Bhopal, Jan 17: Voting for the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Council and Madhya Pradesh Panchayat Elections 2018 was held today on January 17. MADHYA PRADESH MUNICIPAL COUNCIL, PANCHAYAT ELECTIONS 2018 LIVE:

12:08 PM 38.4 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 11 AM in the Madhya Pradesh Local Body Elections 2018.

10:50 AM Slow voting process underway in 15 wards.

10:23 AM Civic body polls are scheduled in 21 bodies in six districts. A total of 76 candidates are in the fray.

9:50 AM Security has been deployed at the polling booths in Madhya Pradesh. In Dhar district, the municipal council Dhar, Manavar and Pithampur Municipal Council Sardarpur, Rajgarh, Dharampuri, Dhanod, Kukshi and Dahi have gone to polling.

9:20 AM In Badwani, there are a total of 24 wards. The polling is underway on 22 wards. the polling is said to be slow and will continue till 5 PM.

9:10 AM There are reports of people waiting at the polling booth number 264 to cast their votes in the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Council and Panchayat elections 2018.

9:09 AM The election commission has sent engineers to fix issues in the EVMs at the polling booth number 264.

8:51 AM Technical issues in Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) in polling booth number 2 and 52. The voting had halted and now has begun again.

8:32 AM Voting Underway in Madhya Pradesh Municipal Council and Panchayat Elections 2018. The polling will continue till 5 PM.

8:24 AM A total of five districts – Dhar, Barwani, Khandwa, Guna, and Anuppur – are going to polls in Madhya Pradesh Municipal Council Elections 2018. In Dhar, voting will be held for Pithampur, Dhar and Manawar municipal councils and Sardarpur, Rajgarh, Dharampuri, Dhamnod, Kukshi and Dahi Nagar Parishad city councils.

In Barwani district, Sendhwa and Barwani municipal council and Pansemal, Khetia, Palsud, Anjad and Rajpur Nagar Parishad are going to polls today. While Omkareshwar Nagar Parishad in Khandwa district is going to vote, Vijaypur-Raghogarh municipal council in Guna district will be polling today.
