According to a report, due to this mega-block, Bilaspur-Indore Narmada Express has been cancelled since Sunday. From Monday, Bilaspur-Bhopal-Bilaspur passenger express, Bilaspur-Riva-Bilaspur express and Bilaspur Pendra Road Express has been cancelled for next six days. Apart from these trains, during the mega block 23 different trains will be cancelled on different days. The mega block has been called for non-interlinking work. On Monday there were reports that train services were hit between Tatanagar and Rourkela section of Chakradharpur railway division under South Eastern Railway due to launching of two limited height subways between Nimidh and Chandil stations. The traffic-cum-power block which also led to the disruption began at 10:20 am and continued till 4:30 pm in the evening.
The Tatanagar-Dhanbad Subernarekha Express was reschedlued to leave Tatanagar at 3 pm instead of 1:20 pm today. The Tatanagar-Hatia Passenger today ran on a diverted route via Chandil and uri instead of Purulia, Chandil and Kotshila.
The Danapur-Tatanagar Express was also delayed by 45 minutes Asansol and Urma railway station.
These station sees a daily traffic of 90 mail, express and passenger trains, besides a footfall of more than 60,000 passengers.
