The BJP Leader was also criticised by Preei Sharma Menon, a member of AAP’s national executive. Taking a jibe at Kadam, Menon tweeted,”Congratulations on the new job you have given your MLAs of abducting girls.
Is it national policy for BJP? MLA Ram Kadam offers to abduct girls for boys. He even offers hotline number for it.”
However, Kadam defended himself saying,”I said that children should consult their parents. My statement has been misunderstood. This is a political conspiracy of the opposition to target me.”
Notably, the BJP lawmaker is known for organising Dahi Handi celebrations in Ghatkopar. Several well known personalities including politicians and actors had attended Kadam’s Dahi Handi celebrations.
