In a ‘non-political’ tête-à-tête with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar at his residence in New Delhi’s Lok Kalyan Marg, PM Modi spoke out about his friends in opposition parties, especially Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mamata Banerjee. The Prime Minister also narrated an incident where Ghulam Nabi Azad came out in support for his friendship with him. PM Modi said, “Once Ghulab Nabi Azad and I were having a friendly talk. Noticing that, the media was quick to question them on how come they were friends with each other. To which Ghulam Nabi gave a prompt reply saying that whatever might appear on the outside, the truth is, we are all friends and share a familial bond.”
Further, speaking about how he is as a person, PM Modi revealed that he is a strict person but never humiliates people. The PM shared an interesting fact about his life and claimed that the first bank account in his name was opened after he became an MLA.
Over the relation that he has with his mother, PM Modi said that till today, his mother still sends him money. “Aaj bhi jab main maa se milne jaata hun to wo mere haath me sawa rupaya zaroor rakhti hain,” he revealed.
