New Delhi, May 17: The security personnel on Thursday detained a man for throwing ink on the face of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. The incident took place in Hisar district of Haryana. Last year in November, Sonipat District Administration had issued a notification asking journalists and camerapersons to maintain distance from Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. The notification read that the microphones and cameras too close to Khattar are a security risk and that security personnel finds it difficult to protect the Haryana CM each time members of the media begin interacting/questioning him. It further reads that members of the media should maintain ‘appropriate distance’ from the CM in the future to ensure security is not compromised.
