New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Sunday address the nation through his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ at 11 AM. This will be the 62nd episode of Mann Ki Baat as well as its second episode of the year. The previous Maan Ki Baat episode was broadcast on January 26, on the occasion of Republic Day. This also marked the first time that an episode of Mann Ki Baat was aired in the evening, instead of its customary 11 AM slot. This was due to the Republic Day celebrations held earlier in the day.
In the 61st episode, the Prime Minister spoke on issues like water conservation, Assam Accord, Padma Awards, Khelo India University Games etc. The first-ever Khelo India University Games, in fact, started earlier today in Odisha’s Cuttack and were declared open by the Prime Minister himself through video conferencing.
One can tune into Mann Ki Baat on All India Radio (AIR), Doordarshan (DD) and the Narendra Modi Mobile App. Further, it will be broadcast in regional languages immediately after its Hindi broadcast.
The first-ever Mann Ki Baat episode aired on October 3, 2014, on the festival of Vijayadashami (Dussehra) and the day after Mahatma Gandhi’s 145th birth anniversary.
