Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Tiwari tweeted a picture of Gandhi and wrote,”Rahul Gyan, lemonade means coca cola, berozgaari means ISIS terrorist, baba is all well. He also tweeted a meme in which the Congress leader ‘advises’ employed people to join ISIS.
Tiwari’s reaction comes a day after Congress president while addressing a gathering at the Bucerius Summer School in Hamburg in Germany had cited the example of the Islamic State (IS) to say that exclusion of a large number of people from the development process could lead to the creation of insurgent groups anywhere in the world. He had also linked the incidents of lynching in India to joblessness.
On Thursday, the BJP had alleged that the Congress president justified terrorism and “lied through his teeth” to attack the Modi government. “Rahul Gandhi left no opportunity to belittle India and to present it in a bad light. We need explanations from you,” BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra had said adding,”Gandhi’s submission was that minorities in India would “sell their soul” to IS if jobs are not available for them, and this amounted to “denigrating” the community.”
