New York, Sep 22: Eenam Gambhir, First Secretary in the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations or simply the ‘India’s voice’ at the UNGA, destroyed Pakistan by delivering a stinging reply to Pakistan’s defence of terrorism that has been sprouting from its land. Pakistan is now ‘Terroristan’, she said. Exercising India’s Right of Reply at the United Nations, Eenam Gambhir tore apart Pakistan which, according to her “has provided safe havens to global terror leaders in its military town or protecting them with political careers“. Describing Pakistan’s tactics to play the victim, Gambhir strongly pointed out at Pakistan saying that the country’s neighbours are painfully familiar with its abilities to create a “narrative based on distortions, deception, and deceit”. Gambhir has much experience relating to Pakistan. She has previously operated on the Pakistan desk at the External Affairs Ministry of India in the Delhi office until mid-2015.

Syed Akbaruddin, India’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, has been a mentor to Eenam Gambhir.

This is not the first time Eenam has tore into Pakistan at the United Nations. She was first chosen by India to deliver its response to former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif. On September 22, 2016, she was chosen to respond to Nawaz Sharif who had raked up the Kashmir issue at the UNGA.

In 2016, Gambhir described Nawaz Sharif‘s speech, about the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, as a ‘long tirade’ and called Pakistan a ‘terrorist state’.

Now her comment describing Pakistan as ‘Terroristan’ has gone viral.
