Check out the list of MHADA Lottery 2018 Result Winners:
Shiv Sena Shakha Pramukh from Agripada, Vinod Shirke, bagged two of the costliest apartments in the MHADA lottery – one worth Rs 4.99 crores and the other costing Rs 5.8 crores, thus becoming one of the luckiest among the total 80 applicants who were in the race for these flats. It is the costliest flat in MHADA’s history.
It must be noted that though Shirke got two flats, he will be allowed to keep only one of them (one of his choice), as per the law. Mhada spokesperson confirmed, “An individual winner gets only one apartment. And as per the I-T Act, a family is classified as a unit of husband, wife and minor children. So between them, they can only keep one flat in the lottery. However, adult children or majors may retain their houses if they win separately from their parents.”
The other costly flat, worth Rs 5.13 crores, was won by Akhtar Said Mohammad. All these three costliest flats are located in Dhavalgiri building near August Kranti Maidan.
