Model Town election result 2025 LIVE Update: Model Town is an important assembly constituency in Delhi, where the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has maintained strong support for years. In the 2020 elections, AAP candidate Akhilesh Pati Tripathi won with 52,665 votes, defeating BJP’s Kapil Mishra by 11,133 votes. In the 2015 elections, Tripathi had an even bigger victory, winning by 16,706 votes. He secured 54,628 votes, while BJP’s Vivek Garg received 37,922. That year, the constituency had 153,672 registered voters, and 104,284 votes were counted as valid.
In the 2025 Delhi Assembly Elections, Mustafabad recorded the highest voter turnout at 69.00%, followed by Seelam Pur (68.70%) and Gokalpur (68.29%). These areas had strong voter participation.
On the other hand, Mehrauli had the lowest voter turnout at 53.04%, with Model Town (53.40%) and Malviya Nagar (54.00%) also seeing low participation. The overall voter turnout across Delhi was 60.44%.
