#ModiInBangladesh: Trade and investment sector strengthened been India, Bangladesh, says S Jaishankar
Some even praised how the current prime minister has done what could not be done in over 40 years.

Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar shed some light 0n how several agreements were signed between India and Bangladesh during the path-breaking visit by Narendra Modi to Bangladesh. Jaishankar stated how Bangladesh Chief Minister Shiekh Hasina had praised India’s proposals and its neighbour-first policy. With connectivity and the improvement of relations between the two nations being the hot topic of conversation, two buses were flagged off during the event. Jaishankar also expressed happiness on how a second consecutive LOC had been signed. A telecom agreement was signed between India and Bangladesh BSNL and BSCCL Bangladesh. Jaishankar went on to reveal that the the agreement worth cost 2 billion dollars. There has been widespread praise from several quarters about this visit by Modi. Some even praised how the current prime minister has done what could n0t be done in over 40 years.
Jaishankar was also happy with the support he got from the Bangladeshi government on the agreements and the warmth that was extended to India.
