New Delhi, July 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South Korean President Moon Jae-in jointly inaugurate the Noida factory of Samsung today. The 35-acre Noida factory has been touted as the ‘world’s largest mobile factory’, and is said to manufacture 120 million mobile phones per year. According to reports, the Samsung ‘s mobile manufacturing plant in Noida currently has a capacity of around 67 million phones, which includes both smart and feature phones. South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Sunday evening arrived in India on a four-day state visit. Soon after his arrival, he visited the Akshardham Temple. He then travelled in the Delhi Metro with PM Modi.

On Tuesday, he would be accorded ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan followed by a meeting with Naidu. The same day, he would meet Modi.

India and South Korea would sign various agreements following delegation level talks.

In the evening, Moon will be hosted to dinner by President Kovind. The South Korean President would depart on Wednesday morning.
