MP: Massive Fire Breaks Out at Tyre Factory in Mandsaur, no Casualties Reported

New Delhi: A massive fire broke out at a tyre factory in Mandsaur city of Madhya Pradesh, news agency ANI reported on Sunday. The cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet. No injuries or causalities have been reported in the incident till the time of filing this report.

The fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. Thick, black smoke was seen billowing out of the factory. Panic gripped the area. Locals were also seen helping the rescue officials in dousing the flames.

Last year, Congress president Rahul Gandhi had a narrow escape after balloons came in contact with fire and exploded during his 8 km roadshow in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The incident reportedly took place when some Congress workers walked towards Rahul Gandhi to welcome him with an ‘aarti thali’. However, the flame of the ‘aarti’ came into contact of balloons, leading them to burst with a loud noise.  Notably, Gandhi’s convoy was passing through Model Road when the incident happened.
