New Delhi: A Vishva Hindu Parishad worker was shot dead on Wednesday morning by three unidentified bike-borne assailants in Mandsaur of Madhya Pradesh, stated a report. Soon after the incident, the police rushed to the spot. An investigation in the case is currently underway. More details awaited.

According to a report by Times of India, the accused fired three shots at the VHP worker at a tea stall in Geetaa Bhawan area of Mandsaur.

In yet another incident on Monday night, a local Trinamool Congress leader was shot dead inside a party office in West Bengal’s East Midnapore district, stated a report. The victim was 34-year-old Kurban Ali Shah who was declared as ‘dead on arrival’ at a hospital, added the report.
