Mulayam Singh Yadav parted with Janata Pariwar realising it’s a losing alliance: BJP
The SP has distanced itself from the Janata Pariwar
New Delhi, Sept 3: The Bhatratiya Janata Party on Thursday said Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav parted ways with Janata Pariwar knowing it is a ‘losing alliance’. “The SP has distanced itself from the Janata Pariwar. It clearly sends a message across the country that Mulayam Singh Yadav and his party realised that this is a losing alliance and a losing battle in Bihar,” said BJP spokesman Sambit Patra. “That is why, they don’t want to see themselves associated with this alliance of Janata Pariwar,” he added. The Samajwadi Party on Thursday walked out of the Janata Pariwar and decided to contest the Bihar elections on its own, Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav said. “We will fight the Bihar election independently and with our full might. The party’s parliamentary board has taken the decision. Nobody in the party was happy with the offer of five seats,” Yadav added.
Bharatiya Janata Party vice president C. P. Thakur on Thursday said the Janata Pariwar cheated Mulayam Singh Yadav. “The Janata Pariwar thought that they have won the battle and they cheated Mulayam Singh Yadav ji, therefore, they(Samajwadi Party) felt very much insulted. It was expected that they are not respecting the party or the people but only seeing their own benefits. This is the reason why Mulayam Singh Yadav’s party left this conclave,” Thakur told ANI here.
