Mumbai: A 15-year-old girl died in a fire that broke out in a building at Dadar Police Station Compound, Dadar (West) in Maharashtra, stated news agency ANI. The accident occurred at around 1:40 PM on Sunday afternoon.
Soon after the accident, four fire engines, three water tankers and an ambulance reached the spot to douse the flames. More details are awaited in the case.
In a similar accident last month, a fire broke out in a ground-plus-one building housing a Big Bazaar outlet in the city’s Matunga West area, said an official. At least five fire engines, a Quick Response Vehicle, one ambulance and several Fire Brigade personnel have reached the site for dousing operations, he added.
All the people who were inside the store at the time of the fire managed to rush out to safety and no casualty has been reported as yet, he added.
