Mumbai: A major fire broke out at a shop on New Link Road in Jogeshwari (West) on Saturday night. The shop is located at Akbar Ali Compound, news agency ANI reported.

No casualties or injuries were reported till the time of filing the report.

The cause of the blaze is said to be a short-circuit. However, no official confirmation on the same has been made yet and the exact reason is being ascertained.

In a similar incident on June 5, a fire broke out at the Minar Tower in Jogeshwari area. Several fire tenders were rushed to the spot. No casualties were reported in the incident.
