Mumbai: A fire broke out in Mumbai’s Crawford market area on Saturday evening. At least eight fire tenders are present at the spot to take control of the situation. No casualties have been reported so far.

Last year, on December 24, at least four men were charred to death in a fire that gutted a cloth godown in suburban Kandivli area.

The blaze was reported in the facility, located in Damu Nagar near MIDC bus stop, as per the Disaster Management Unit of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
