Mumbai: Fire Breaks Out in Pydhonie Building, 14 Fire Engines on Spot

At least 14 fire engines and 10 water tankers have been rushed to the spot and trying to douse the blaze.

Mumbai, Apr 6: A major fire broke out in a building in Mumbai’s Pydhonie on Friday morning. The fire broke out on the second and third floor of a building in south Mumbai’s Pydhonie area.

At least 14 fire engines and 10 water tankers have been rushed to the spot and trying to douse the blaze. No casualty has been reported so far.

The fire, according to news agency ANI, has been brought under control.

The Pydhonie area fire has come a few hours after a fire broke out at three godowns in Wajid Ali Compound in Sakinaka area of Mumbai. At least 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze was brought under control.

No casualty was reported as everyone was rescued.

On March 25, at least one person was killed and seven others were injured in a fire in a slum area near Rajiv Gandhi Nagar in east Mumbai’s Chembur.
